\n Salary Range: $28.00 To $43.00 Hourly \n

\nWe are currently seeking several CNC Lathe Machinist for our Shields Manufacturing facility in Tualatin Oregon. (On-site position) Multiple shifts available.\n

\nTeam members will carry out a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment. \n
\n
\nCNC Lathe Machinist (Levels 1-3) - CNC Lathe Machinist \n
\n

\n
• Ability to read and understand drawings
\n
• Starts and observes machine operation
\n
• Calculates and set controls to regulate machining factors
\n
• Process offset changes unassisted
\n
• Check parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices.
\n
• Verify conformance of completed work
\n
• Working on lathes such as Mori Seiki (NLX2500, NLX3000, NLX4000, NZX2000), Hitachi Seiki, Nakamura Tome, Haas TL-2, Manual Lathe.
\n

\nRequirements: \n
\n

\n
• Extensive machine shop/metal working skills
\n
• Possesses the ability to work with decimals
\n
• Comfortable working with close tolerances (thousandths)
\n
• Ability to set up your own jobs and run first part
\n
• Ability to adjust programs if required
\n
